WHAT OUR JOB CANDIDATES HAVE TO SAY
I started working with Ventura Solutions for job placement one month after graduating with my master’s degree in bioengineering. As many new grads do, I possessed a strong work ethic and technical background, but lacked the industry knowledge to communicate my qualifications properly to professional engineers in the medical device field. My first interview was for a Quality Engineer contract position in the combination product development. Two days later, I was offered the position and I accepted. Ventura Solutions went beyond the call of typical contracting firms to identify the tools I needed to be successful in the medical device industry and made sure I was prepared not just to interview, but to start my career. Throughout the entire process, it was always clear that the training and placement activities were focused on own my personal development, not just a business transaction. I highly recommend Ventura Solutions to any highly motivated professional or new grad looking to break into the medical device or pharmaceutical industry and start making a real impact.
I received training from Ventura Solutions between June and August of 2017 in the area of Medical Device Design Controls and Risk Management. The training consisted of weekly meetings via Google Hangouts where me along with three others worked on a project involving a medical device currently available on the market. We were tasked with creating a design history file, including writing user needs and design inputs for a particular device. We would collaborate on the project during the meetings, while being advised by the Ventura Solutions instructor. With this training, I gained an understanding in the Design Control and Risk Management process and it allowed me to gain real world communication skills through the various team building exercises integrated into the training sessions. This training played a major part in helping me land my first job as a Development Engineer in the medical device industry after graduation. I highly recommend going through Chuck’s Ventura Solution’s Design Controls and Risk Management training courses if you want to get your foot in the door in the medical device field or even just improve your current education in this space.
